The Philippine Cricket Association currently runs both Men's and Women's National Teams in International Cricket Council T20 Tournaments and also plays Bi-lateral T20i Series from time to time.
Currently the Philippines Men's National Team (known as the Carabaos) holds the #2 ranking in the ICC East Asia-Pacific Region trailing only Papua New Guinea after winning in the ICC EAP T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Qualifier in 2018 and followed that up with a second placed finish in the ICC EAP T20 World Cup Regional Final in 2019. The Carabaos next international tour will see them head to Japan in October 2021 for the ICC EAP T20 World Cup Regional Qualifier Tournament.
2019 also saw the launch of the inaugural Philippines Women's National Team (known as the Blue Caps) in a home series vs Indonesia and PCA will see its Women's National Team compete in their first ever ICC Regional Qualifiers held in Samoa in September 2021 after missing out on playing a tour in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
PCA is always on the lookout for suitable players to add to its respective National Teams and in line with ICC rules and regulations considers players for selection based on the following criteria;
Players are eligible if they fulfill one of the following;
- Player is a Philippine citizen (with Philippine Passport)
- Player was born in the Philippines (with Birth Certificate)
- Player is a current resident of the Philippines for a minimum of 3 consecutive years
- Any Player with Filipino Heritage (one or both parents are/were Philippine Citizen/s) please feel free to get in touch with us also for further guidance regarding eligibility to play for the Philippines

Any nominations will be forwarded to the Philippines National Team Selectors who may get back to Players that may be a good fit for our squads.
